The project

This project, which is a continuation of the Let’s become eco-citizens project of August 2022, focuses on eco-citizenship and sustainable development.
The objective is to discover and propose, with you, alternatives to adopt fairer and more sustainable lifestyles for the planet and to become an actor and actress in raising awareness of an eco-citizen approach.

 

Participant profile

This project is a youth exchange funded by the Erasmus+ program. You will need to be 18 to 30 years old. The group will be made up of Italians, Belgians, Estonians and French.

Main activities

For two weeks you will meet through brainstorming workshops, workshops to discover permaculture in the educational garden, workshops to create eco-sustainable products or even visits to eco-places. The objective is to co-construct a common vision of eco- citizenship which will be illustrated by the communication tool of your choice. 4 to 6 hours of work site per day.

 

Location

La Maison des Bateleurs has been created in 1996, and is part of the national movement of Solidarités Jeunesses. This place is dedicated to diversity, wishing to host a lot of people from different backgrounds through several kinds of action (events, international workcamps, inclusion workcamps,…). Volunteers from all around the world come here to share an intercultural experience, to work and live together…

What to bring?

  • A sleeping-bag (and a pillow if you wish)
  • Rain clothes and warm clothes
  • Your European Health Insurance Card or a document stating your insurance policy if you are not from the EU
  • Personal care products and medicines
  • Transportable tools to spend your free time
  • Anything you need for personal comfort

 

Reimbursement

To get reimbursed, you need to send to your sending organisation, at the end of the project, all the documents related to the travel (tickets, invoices, receipts etc.).
Once you send the documents, we will reimburse your sending organisation that will be in charge of your reimbursement.
