We are looking for 2 Volunteers for a Nursery project who will stay at YMCA Fairthorne for 6 months,

Objectives and Activities of the Project:
You will help to deliver the highest quality of care and curriculum in line with the YMCA Way and Ofsted guidelines, keeping our core values at the heart of everything you do: Welcoming, Active, Listening, Inspiring, Caring, Exciting. You will inspire our youngest customers through delivering an exciting, child-led, play based curriculum utilising the outdoors where-ever possible. From taking children on walks to explore our vast grounds to eating lunch around a campfire, you will be a support to young children as they challenge themselves and develop throughout their time with us at Fairthorne Manor Nursery.
Volunteering Profile:
- Minimum age 18
- Strong motivation for working with young people
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Want to learn new skills and improve the amazing ones you already have
- Like the idea of no two days being the same
- Love the idea of making every visit to Fairthorne a special and one they will remember forever!
Additional benefits
We will ensure volunteers have supplies of toiletries, towels, washing powder, access to washing facilities, full uniform including boots, travel expenses from London to Fairthorne, there will be a couple of trips paid for, travel expenses for doctors/dentist, bikes with safety equipment will be available for volunteers to use
There will also be a small amount of pocket money given to the volunteers to be used for personal items which is about £420.00.
Volunteers will be subject to an interview from YMCA Fairthorne prior to the placement being accepted.
