Peace & Future’s Thinking Workcamp
About us
We are the Welsh Centre for International Affairs (WCIA), where we ignite passion and empower individuals to make a tangible impact on global challenges. Our mission is to cultivate a sense of responsibility within the people of Wales, enabling them to contribute to a world that is more equitable and harmonious. As a non-profit organization rooted in Wales, we have been fostering international understanding since 1973. At WCIA, we actively support community development through dynamic initiatives such as volunteering and cultural exchange. Through our memberships in the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations and the UNESCO-affiliated Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service, we collaborate with partners around the globe. We proudly manage a diverse range of programs that facilitate international volunteering experiences, both in Wales and abroad. These transformative opportunities can last anywhere from two weeks to a full year, uniting young people from diverse countries in a unique endeavor. By generously donating their time and energy, these individuals make a profound difference for both themselves and the communities they serve.
