Where? This training takes place in the Jugendbildungsstätte Haus Südmähren in the outskirts of Stuttgart.
Who can participate? This training course is open to all camp leaders of international Workcamps as well as trainers of camp leaders.
Content of the training International Workcamps and other volunteering projects should be open to any young person, regardless of nationality, gender, sexual orientation, cultural or social background, income, education, religion and other beliefs, physical and health conditions or limitations. We are convinced that diversity in all of these aspects makes our Workcamps better. For years, we have therefore been working to improve access, support volunteers in need of support and to overcome barriers. To have a truly inclusive experience for everyone, we rely on our camp leaders working with and coordinating the respective groups. Therefore, we are organising this training to prepare our camp leaders with advice, tips, tools and support

With this training course we want to

  • discuss the relevance of inclusion in international Workcamps and prepare camp leaders for possible challenges and new situations.
  • provide trainers of camp leaders with tools and methods to prepare camp leaders and work on inlcusion in Workcamps with them.
