Volunteer with Rescued Farm Animals in the Canary Islands

Project Summary

Join a life-changing volunteer opportunity at The Animal Academy, a rural rescue center located on the island of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. Home to more than 250 rescued animals, this center provides sanctuary to horses, goats, pigs, ducks, and more—many of whom have been saved from neglect, abandonment, or abuse.

This project invites passionate, committed individuals to take part in hands-on animal care, live in a close-knit community, and support the long-term mission of giving every animal a safe and dignified life.
