Aim:

The project aims to empower youth participants, who are youth/social workers, young entrepreneurs, and trainers, to integrate mental health coping skills and mechanisms into their daily work, fostering resilience and well-being among their peers.

Objectives:

  • To equip youth participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their competence in youth work, focusing on mental health awareness and coping strategies.
  • To provide participants with practical tools and resources for effectively addressing mental health struggles among their peers, thereby promoting improved work performance and overall well-being within their communities.
  • To facilitate a supportive and collaborative environment where youth participants can share experiences, insights, and best practices related to mental health, fostering mutual learning and collective empowerment

The training course methodology follows non-formal education principles, emphasizing participant-centered approaches. It prioritizes active participation, mutual learning, and the exchange of experiences and best practices in mental health and youth work.

We guarantee the establishment of a safe and secure environment, offering experiential learning opportunities and encouraging active participation from each participant. The program incorporates experiential learning activities that necessitate gadgets-free and alcohol-free/detox days, as well as mindfulness practices such as mindful eating, communication, and body-oriented workshops. Participants who adhere to these requirements are warmly welcomed to join the program.

Profile of participants:

  • Age Requirement: Participants must be aged between 20 and 30 years old.
  • Dissemination and Follow-up: Encourage local sharing of project outcomes during dissemination and follow-up activities.
