Volunteer at an Educational Farm in the Netherlands
Join the European Solidarity Corps with SIW International!
SIW is looking for a friendly and motivated volunteer to join a one-year European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project at an educational farm in the north of the Netherlands. You’ll work alongside children, helping them reconnect with society by taking care of animals, gardening, and maintaining the farm together.
What You’ll Do:

Organize and support educational activities for children

Care for farm animals

Garden and harvest fresh fruits and vegetables

Help with general farm maintenance

Take part in social activities in the local village

Dedicate time to your own personal development
When?
From 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026
What We Offer:

Accommodation: A private bedroom in a chalet on the farm, with a shared kitchen and bathroom (shared with one roommate)

Location: Drogeham, a small village in the north of the Netherlands

Food & Pocket Money: Food costs are covered, plus you’ll receive pocket money

Travel Costs: Reimbursement of travel expenses to and from the project

Self-Development: Half a day per week dedicated to personal growth, including Dutch language lessons and e-learning opportunities

Training: On-arrival and mid-term trainings together with other ESC volunteers in the Netherlands

Mentorship: Regular check-ins with your mentor and coordinator to support your learning and experience
Who We’re Looking For:
You:

Have an interest in farming, working with animals, sustainable building, and working with children

Don’t mind hands-on, physical work
-
Take initiative and are comfortable working independently

Can provide a valid Code of Conduct

Enjoy rural countryside life and are proactive in creating a social network
