1. Solawi Stralsund (3-8 months between now and October 2025)
A small local German-Spanish family business running a community supported agriculture. This project is near the Baltic Sea cost, 30km North of Greifswald in a very (!) small village. Volunteers should enjoy nature and animals, should like to get to know gardening and be aware that tasks are hands-on and outdoors (which can be in the rain and wind). It’s a lovely place with lovely people – ideal if volunteers are looking for an active time and to find some peace and quiet in the countryside. Ingo who runs the farm with his wife Katy is also a social worker.

2. Kabutze (starting date 01.04.2025, duration until 31.08.2025)
Kabutze is an open and uncommercial sewing workspace for everybody in Greifswald. They offer opening hours for self-help and workshops as well as educational events on sustainable development. Volunteers should be interested in sewing and other handicrafts and/or the social and ecological effects of the clothing industry. For this position basic kowledge in German or previous experience with sewing would be ideal.

3. verquer (starting date as soon as possible, duration until 31.08.2025) application possible until 16.2.25
verquer. is a non-formal education project in Greifswald. They offer single or multiple day projects for schools, youth centres or other groups on topics about global justice and social transformation. Another project is „VeRa“, a monthly podcast that also deals with topics of global justice. Furthermore, they have regular afternoon activities for children in a local youth centre and organize a summer camp for (migrant and refugee) kids.
