ESC Volunteering opportunity at HUJ office in Yerevan, Armenia!
We are excited to announce that HUJ Armenia is currently looking for two ESC long-term volunteers at HUJ office from October/ November 2024 for one year.
Volunteers will gain experience in the field of voluntary service. Volunteers will receive knowledge and skills to work in your organizations in the future.
Description
Voluntary Service of Armenia (HUJ) was founded in 1965 and is situated in the center of Yerevan. HUJ is a member of the Coordinating Committee of International Voluntary Service (CCIVS) at UNESCO and the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations.
The volunteer will assist in HUJ activities and promotion of volunteering lifestyle, in organization of international voluntary activities, promotion of HUJ volunteering projects. The participant will learn the aspects of a work in a voluntary service organisation’s office, how to organize international voluntary workcamps, seminars/trainings, details of a work with long-term volunteers. After finishing the project, HUJ will help the volunteer to find a job in a voluntary service organisation.
The volunteer will also have Armenian language classes in a language center twice a week, located not far from the office of HUJ. The volunteer will always find here a friendly atmosphere. Duration of the project is 8-12 months.
