This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in event management.
Project starts earlier on in the year, from May 22nd to May the 29th. The host Is looking for 8 motivated volunteers!
Elderflower Fields was born in 2012 out of a desire to create a new festival designed especially for families and kids. The festival sold over a thousand tickets and everyone loved it, the sun was shining, kids played and people danced. The festival was so popular that it happened again in 2013 and then a new bigger venue in 2014. Pippingford Park is set in an Area of Outstanding natural beauty. The host intentionally keeps Elderflower Fields small – this is part of what makes it such a safe and special festival. Designed especially for those with young children as an opportunity for little festival first timers to dip their toes into a magical world of music, fun and nature. Families return year after year for a weekend filled with new experiences, exploration and celebration.
Elderflower Fields is an independent festival, created by So Sussex and put together by a small but hardworking time to create a magical experience for their audience. The rest of the festival is made up of friends, family and amazing volunteers – hopefully including you!
Work: Being a part of the volunteer and stewarding team to make the festival happen. In pairs, you will look after a specific area of the event as a contact point for the guests.
Accommodation: Volunteers will be camping at the site, in the crew paddock area. The tents, hot showers, and water will be provided by Elderflower fiends.
Food: Volunteers will be provided with three meals per day.
