Volunteers will take part in:
-
Restoring the Phytoclimatic Route and Jardín de Santos, a 19th-century botanical garden damaged by fire
-
Environmental work such as gardening, clean-up efforts, painting, and replanting native species
-
Supporting the local museum with maintenance and historical preservation tasks
-
Beautifying public spaces through creative projects like murals and artistic installations
-
Intergenerational community work: weekly visits to the local senior center to engage in cultural exchange and shared activities
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in a small rural community while gaining hands-on experience in environmental sustainability, cultural heritage, and social engagement.
