Experience an Unforgettable Summer Volunteering in Greenland

Are you looking for a meaningful and adventurous way to spend your summer? Volunteering in Greenland offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in breathtaking Arctic landscapes while making a real difference in the lives of children and local communities. This summer, you can be part of two incredible camps: Camp Nuan and Camp Q.

Camp Nuan – A Cultural and Educational Adventure

Dates: July 6 – July 25, 2025

Location: Nanortalik, Greenland

Age Group: 20 – 65 years

Organized by Greenlandic Children, Camp Nuan is dedicated to providing local children with a fun and enriching summer experience. Volunteers will engage in educational and creative activities, including language lessons, cultural workshops, and outdoor games. The camp fosters a social and inclusive environment, ensuring that all children feel heard and supported.

Volunteers will be involved in planning and leading activities, working in teams to create memorable experiences for the children. A typical day includes morning meetings, activity preparations, sessions with the kids, and evening reflections. Sundays are free for exploration and relaxation.

Accommodation & Food: Volunteers will stay in shared accommodations, with access to kitchen and bathroom facilities. Meals will be prepared in teams, and since all supplies are transported by ship, expect a limited variety of ingredients. Most meals will include meat and fish, traditional to Greenlandic cuisine.

Why Join Camp Nuan?

  • Explore the stunning landscapes of South Greenland.
  • Contribute to a meaningful social project.
