If you are interested in:
- gaining greater self-awareness, empowerment, and understanding of others,
- developing or improving different youth-working skills and becoming more confident in that role,
- learning through interactive and diverse non-formal methods,
- getting new tools and learning new methods that can be useful for personal and group work,
- meeting interesting new people from 5 different countries, who share some similar interests
About the project:
During the training, youth workers will gain knowledge and experience in the use of the digital storytelling method, which is also applicable to other activities.
At the same time, they will gain additional insight into current social and global issues and identify with them through the creation of their own digital stories.
Raise general socially and globally relevant topics awareness among young people and improve their ability to cope with problems.
To empower youth workers by providing concrete tools and developing a greater understanding, connected to socially and globally relevant topics, to be able to give better support to young people in their local communities.
Increasing the level of self-awareness of the participants in a practical way and enabling the development of different competencies.
At the end of the training, we will collect the digital stories created during the training and publish them on our website.
At FAIRevolution international training we will use digital storytelling to address social and globally relevant topics:
- social and economic inequality,
- environmental sustainability and climate change,
- diversity and inclusion,
- migration.
The training is based on the FaiRevolution toolkit, which was developed in 2023 in the framework of the Erasmus+ Small Partnerships project and is published on the Fairshare platform. The training will be delivered by experts in the field of global learning and experts in the use of digital tools.
Participant’s profile
One of the most important things is the motivation to participate and have an interest in the topic. It is an intense program so one needs to be willing to dedicate to it fully. The
training will gather 20 participants from 5 EU countries (4 per country)
We are looking for people who:
- already work with young people or groups or are interested in becoming youth workers, trainers, or active volunteers,
- have a good enough understanding of English to be able to follow and participate actively,
- have the desire to gain new skills and learn about themselves,
- are willing to fully participate throughout the whole training which consists of 5 working days from 29th of May to 4th of June.
