CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: WALKING AGAINST COLONIALISM – 7-13 April 2025 in Innsbruck, Austria

Our streets, buildings and museums are full of colonial heritage. European colonialism for centuries has exploited people, land and resources in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Oceania and the consequences of this are clearly visible until today. Decolonial city tours are an educational method that can bring awareness to young people and can motivate them to get active for global justice.

In this training you can learn how to organise decolonial city tours, experience a decolonial city tour of Innsbruck and meet other people who are interested in how to connect youth work and education around colonial history.

The seminar is open for people living in any of the EU member states + Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Georgia, Iceland, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Libya, Macedonia, Morocco, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Palestine, Serbia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.
