Welcome to Our 3-Day Seminar at Château de Le Créneau

We’re excited to invite you to a unique 3-day seminar designed to bring together partner organizations from across Europe. This gathering is all about connecting, sharing, and sparking new ideas through the creative and social power of animation. Hosted in the inspiring setting of Château de Le Créneau in France’s stunning Auvergne region, this seminar promises a dynamic mix of collaboration, learning, and inspiration.

What’s the Seminar All About?

Our Aim

This seminar is a chance for partner organizations to:

  • Meet and connect: Build stronger relationships and exchange ideas.
  • Share practices: Dive into how animation can be a creative and social art form.
  • Explore collaboration: Discover new ways to work together on exciting projects.

By focusing on creativity, collaboration, and the exchange of best practices, we hope to deepen our ties and inspire fresh initiatives. You’ll leave with new insights, potential joint projects, and a renewed sense of how animation can foster active participation and community-building in European projects.

A Unique Venue

Nestled in the volcanic landscapes of Auvergne, Château de Le Créneau is more than just a venue—it’s a reflection of the seminar’s values. As a social and international hosting center, it’s been a hub for collaboration and innovation for over 30 years. Participants will experience its charm firsthand while engaging in meaningful exchanges.

What to Expect: Objectives and Activities

Here’s what we’ll be diving into over the three days:

  1. Getting to Know Each Other
    • Associations working with international groups will introduce themselves, sharing their pedagogical approaches and educational values. It’s a chance to build trust and understanding among participants.
  2. Exploring Animation in Action
    • We’ll discuss successful experiences and challenges in using animation within international projects. Key questions include:
      • How can animation become a political and transformative tool?
      • How do we align animation with our organizations’ values and capacities?
      • Can animation drive social transformation?
      • Are there specific themes worth exploring?
      • What pitfalls should we watch out for?
  3. Learning from Each Other
    • Participants with specialized skills will share their unique pedagogical approaches, offering fresh perspectives to inspire new methods.
  4. Sparking New Collaborations
    • Through our discussions, we’ll identify the needs of participating associations (like training or study visits) and lay the groundwork for future projects together.

We’re bringing together a group of 16 participants from 8 to 10 European countries. Here’s who we’re looking for:
