Volunteering at the International Scout Centre Rustavi (ISCR)
The International Scout Centre Rustavi (ISCR) in Georgia is offering fully funded volunteering opportunities through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). These positions provide young people with the chance to develop valuable skills, contribute to youth development initiatives, and experience cultural exchange in a dynamic, international environment.
Available Volunteer Roles
ISCR is looking for motivated young people to join in the following positions:

Outdoor & Scouting Volunteer – Engage in outdoor education, scouting activities, and nature-based projects such as hiking, abseiling, mountaineering, and camping. Volunteers in this role should have an interest in outdoor adventure, environmental conservation, and youth education. Prior experience in first aid or outdoor leadership is an advantage.

Social Media & Content Creation Volunteer – Assist in managing ISCR’s social media platforms, create engaging digital content, and develop creative campaigns to promote scouting and youth development activities. Volunteers should be familiar with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, as well as content creation tools like Canva, CapCut, and Figma.

Project Writing & Management Volunteer – Support the development of youth projects by assisting in project writing, planning, and implementation. No prior experience is required, but an interest in youth work, international cooperation, and project management is beneficial.
In addition to their primary roles, all volunteers will take part in rotational tasks that support the smooth operation of ISCR. These include reception duties, event coordination, kitchen assistance, housekeeping, gardening, and technical maintenance.

Long-term ESC volunteering (six to twelve months) starting in autumn 2025

- You can apply for either short-term (1–4 months, June–Sept/Oct) or long-term (2–12 months, starting September) volunteering.
What to Expect
This project is part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and is fully funded. Volunteers will receive:

Accommodation: Provided at ISCR facilities, with shared rooms and access to communal areas.

Meals: A food allowance to cover daily meals. Volunteers will have access to a kitchen.

Financial Support: A pocket money allowance of six euros per day.

Travel Costs: Reimbursement of travel expenses according to ESC distance band regulations. Additional funding is available for participants choosing environmentally friendly travel options.

Initial orientation and training on project activities

Ongoing mentorship and guidance

Mid-term and final evaluations to support volunteer learning and development

Volunteers will engage in a range of activities, including outdoor education, youth engagement, media production, and project development, all within an intercultural and supportive environment.
