Introduction
Vivere Kool is an inclusive private school located in Tallinn, working with young people aged 7–16 with and without special educational needs. Established in the 2019/2020 academic year, the school provides education based on the national or simplified curriculum, supported by an individualised approach tailored to each student.
The school creates a warm and supportive learning environment where students receive individual attention, encouragement, and the opportunity to experience joy in learning. Close cooperation between teachers, support specialists, and families ensures that each child’s development is supported holistically. The school community is built on the shared responsibility of students, educators, parents, and society.
Vivere Kool integrates both formal and non-formal learning approaches. The school day includes lessons, longer breaks, after-school activities, and access to a youth space where students can spend their free time and receive support. Learning is further supported through sensory integration and music therapy rooms, as well as through the work of specialists such as psychologists, speech therapists, and special education teachers.
The school places strong emphasis on values such as inclusion, creativity, cooperation, and well-being. Creative activities play an important role in both formal and non-formal education, while humanistic values, respect for cultural diversity, and the promotion of a healthy and environmentally conscious lifestyle are embedded in everyday school life. Students are encouraged to become confident, proactive individuals who can set goals, collaborate with others, and actively participate in society.
The volunteer will become part of this inclusive and dynamic environment, supporting both educational and youth work activities while contributing to a positive and engaging atmosphere for all students.
