Introduction

Kindergarten Männimäe provides pre-school education for about 200 children. The vision of the kindergarten is to have happy children, satisfied parents and staff which is continuously developing. It has 11 groups of children (ages 2-7 years), 3 of those are groups for children with learning disabilities and various special needs.

The kindergarten is one of the biggest in the city. It has around 55 wonderful staff members. The kindergarten has a nice indoor pool, a big music hall and a gym. Although the building is old and needs renovation, the rooms are big, bright and colourful. So are the children and the people who work there: happy, kind and with big smiles.

Every autumn and spring the kindergarten organises events for the families on the hiking trail. The organisation also celebrates Christmas, Mother’s Day and the birthday of the kindergarten. 3-4 times a year several theatres visit the kindergarten. It holds many interesting events also for the staff: visits to the spas, museums, theatres etc. As the kindergarten is near the lake and next to the hiking trail, a lot of activities also take place in nature.

The kindergarten has joined an anti-bullying program Kindergartens and Schools Free of Bullying.
