Encouraging Youth Workers and Young People to Use Participatory Media – a method that allows the creation of media content (videos, photos, podcasts) easily and collaboratively. We have noticed that while young people are skilled at filming and photography, it is often an individual activity – people work behind their screens alone. The Media4Change project helps participants learn how to collectively create media content and share inspiring stories together.

Project Opportunities and Phases

Participants in the project will have the opportunity to attend international training sessions, explore new tools, and produce environmental-themed media content. Additionally, we conduct surveys to map young Europeans’ opinions on important issues and develop new ways to promote their engagement in sustainability and media literacy.

In 2024, you filled out a survey on the topic “Training Young People to Become Change-Makers Through Inclusive Media.” Through this, we aim to better understand young people’s perspectives on environmental topics. It was also a chance to apply for the project, whose next phases are now starting.

Participation Tasks and Timeline

Participation in the project involves long-term collaboration and activities in Estonia and abroad. However, we do not expect you to be constantly involved. For the success of the project, it is preferred that participants remain the same throughout the project period. All project-related costs are covered by Erasmus+ funding (including flight tickets, transport, accommodation, and meals).
