Belgium Workcamps 2025 – Volunteer for Culture, Inclusion & Heritage!
JAVVA’s international workcamps in Belgium offer volunteers the opportunity to engage in cultural events, heritage preservation, and social inclusion projects. These short-term volunteer programs provide a meaningful way to contribute to local communities while experiencing Belgian culture.
Special Olympics Belgium (Courtrai) – Support Athletes with Disabilities
Dates: 25 May – 1 June 2025
Focus: Disability support, sports, event logistics
Activities:
- Assist with event setup & logistics
- Support athletes with intellectual disabilities during the competition
- Participate in the Opening & Closing Ceremonies
Accommodation: Hostel dormitories
Fee: No extra fee
Couleur Café Festival (Brussels) – Help Organize a Multicultural Music Festival
Dates: 18 June – 3 July 2025
Focus: Festival organization, multiculturalism, sustainability
Activities:
- Assist with stage setup, logistics, and decoration
- Work in catering and eco-cleaning teams
- Enjoy free entry to the festival during breaks
Accommodation: Camping on-site (tents provided)

Building Youth – Renovation & Eco-Construction (Templeuve)
Dates: 12 July – 26 July 2025
Focus: Eco-construction, renovation, education
Activities:
- Help renovate a school using sustainable materials
- Work on building maintenance & repairs
- Engage in community projects with local children
Accommodation: Dormitories in the school

Folk Festival of Marsinne (Marsinne) – Promote Traditional Music & Arts
Dates: 8 September – 19 September 2025
Focus: Cultural heritage, music, community engagement
Activities:
- Help set up and dismantle the festival
- Assist with bar, decorations, and logistics
- Enjoy traditional music and folk dance workshops
Accommodation: Indoor dorms
Fee: No extra fee
