CITIZEN CAFE – SPEAKING OUT ABOUT GENDER
Duration : 9 days, from 13 to 21 of June 2021 (7 days + 2 days of travel)
Location : Super-Besse, Puy de Dôme

Participants : 24 in total (5 participants + 1 leader group from each country) 18-30 age

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
⮚ To develop a better understanding of gender and the challenges it
faces within society
⮚ To provide participants with the necessary tools so they can become
real actors in social change
⮚ To encourage European citizenship, intercultural dialogue and
international mobility
The program of the Youth Exchange will be based on non-formal learning, characterized by focus on the needs of learners, horizontal relationships in a group, learning by doing.
We believe that non-formal education is the best way to enable active involvement of each
participant and to provide space for self-expression.
Therefore, this method will help you to discover your potentials and get new competences, which will contribute to your personal and social development.
PRATICAL CONDITION
⮚ Travel expenses, accommodation, food and local visits are fully covered for every participants by Erasmus+ grant
⮚ Participants will be hosted in a cottage with rooms for
1, 2 or 3 persons, two activity rooms and a dining room.
⮚ Reimbursement of travel expenses will be based on
real costs of tickets and will be subjected to certain
limits (according to Erasmus+ rules)
PRESENTATION OF CONCORDIA
Concordia is non-profit and non-govermental French association created in 1950.
Our aim is to encourage an active citizenship through various volunteering projects : Workcamps,
Youth Exchanges, Service Civique, European Solidarity Corps, …
Implemented with local and international partners, those activities involve a large number
of participants with different backgrounds, coming all around the world, which act together
for the common interest of communities, in France or abroad, in a large wide of thematics.
Concordia Auvergne is based in Clermont-Ferrand and works throughout the region to promote
international mobility. Many of Concordia Auvergne’s actions are designed for local young people with fewer opportunities in order to facilitate heir participation in citizen projects.
