About the Project
ARTIVISM IN ACTION
In today’s world, social issues like climate change, human rights, and inequality are more urgent than ever. However, misinformation, stereotypes, and cultural differences often stand in the way of meaningful conversations. At the same time, intercultural dialogue is crucial for fostering understanding, inclusion, and collective action.
The “Artivism for Change” youth exchange combines these two important areas — providing a space for young people to explore the power of art in addressing social challenges while promoting intercultural learning and collaboration for social justice.
This exchange will gather 25 young people from diverse cultural backgrounds to engage in meaningful conversations on topics such as climate change, human rights, and equality. Participants will discover how art can be a tool for activism through non-formal education methods, including interactive workshops, creative activities, collaborative art projects, and group discussions. The project aims to build skills in art-based advocacy, raising awareness, and driving social change.
