Time for Tea is an educational activity which uses tea to give young people a voice. It encourages global learning, creative thinking and social action. It is simple, fun and accessible to people of any age, background or ability, anywhere in the world. Time for Tea is an initiative of Momentum World CIC.
Recent events such as Greta Thunberg’s school strikes and the Extinction Rebellion movement have not only captured headlines but also shown how necessary it is to find new and smarter ways to allow young people to speak out on the issues that matter to them, and to create a workable dialogue between them and older generation decision makers. This is what Time for Tea does, with the added advantage that this dialogue can be located within, not outside, the education process.
Participants profile
- You must be a teacher, professional youth worker, or adult volunteer
- You must be aged 20 or above
- You must work with children / young people either as your main job or as a regular activity
- You must have a specific class or group of children / young people to take part in a Time for Tea project in your home town
- You must guarantee to participate in ALL stages of the project and to stay for the whole time during the UK activities
Projekt
Viirusest tulenevalt on projekti ülesehitus võrreldes infokirjas olevaga muutunud. Esimene etapp toimub online-vormis ning suure tõenäosusega septembris või oktoobris. Teine kohtumine 2021 Brüsselis ja lõpukohtumine 21.05.

Kandideerimiks loe esmalt läb infopakk ha uri rohkem http://www.time4tea.info/. Osalejad peavad osalema kõikides etappides! Seejärel kandideeri infopakis oleval lingil /SIIN.
Välja valitud osalejatega võetakse ühendust.
Projekt on rahastatud Erasmus+ programmi poolt. Majutus ja toitlustus on kaetud, lennutoetus kaetakse projekti järgselt (ehk alguses tuleb piletid osta oma raha eest) kuni 275€.
