Young people from nowadays are influenced by different media sources and by lots of authorities, so that it gets extremely hard to form own opinion and make healthy decisions.
This project aims to develop participants’ skills of critical thinking, which include: memory, analysis, argumentation and creativity. Other objectives of the youth exchange are: raising awareness among young people, about the necessity of checking the validity of sources and information, practising skills of argumentation, increasing the confidence of young people in the process of decision making, raising the level of tolerance and solidarity among young people.
This YE gathers 45 participants aged between 18 and 30 and have recently finished one stage of formal education. The participating countries are: Armenia, Croatia, Belgium, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Portugal, Russia and Spain.
The main methodology of the youth exchange is games. Board games, simulation games, debate games, city quest, indoor and outdoor games will be organised in order to have a fun learning process. The concept of the YE is to learn by experience and organise it all in a fun way. As Critical thinking is a complex process which involves a lot of skills, each day participants will increase their skills in: memory, analysis, creativity or argumentation.
The expected impact out of this project is to develop critical thinking skills of young generation. Also, working in a team, participants will understand what means to work together to achieve the same goal, will use the knowledge and skills acquired and the process of decision making will be a lot easier and efficient, will gain international and intercultural experience and will strengthen their sense of self-confidence and will be more aware of the possibilities they have.
Majutus ja toitlustus on kaetud Erasmus+ programmi poolt. Reisirahadest tagastatakse kuni 275€.
